Dick Cepek seems to be a Mickey Thompson company.
Called about some polished DC-1's and was told the wheel may or may not work.
The rep went on to say that '05 and up Tacomas with 17s are hit and miss with vibration problems.
Just great, finally found a wheel I like and there may be problems.
I guess it's not unusual considering some have had issues with stock wheels.

17x9 DC-1's will work great, no ring, and they are lug centric so pick up a set of new locking lugs. They easily clear the caliper. I have been running them for almost 2 years and have had no problems, as have many others. I get all my wheels road force balanced and I never have wheel related vibration issues.

I was talking to a local shop about picking up a set of the DC-1's. I would have to say one of the best looking rim's Ive seen. The dealer mentioned that he has been seeing a higher than most issue's with the finish on the rims. He said that the surface around the lug nuts is showing signs of tarnishing and surface problems only after a few months? He had a few sets for return that were going to be destroyed..
I would love to grab a set but Im alittle concerned about the possible vibration and finish issue's.

    What are hubcentric rings?

I had the same issue on the outer ring. The finish was look like it had stress cracks around the holes where you put the washer and bolts in.
