I am about to get a new set of 17x8 wheels with 4.5 inch backspacing for my 2013 TRD Off Road. I plan on getting a 3 inch lift but that will be several months down the road and I don't want to wait until then to get tires. I don't go off roading and know I may encounter rubbing. My question is where would the rubbing be and what would / could be the impact of the rubbing (damage to tires, damage to fenders, etc).

I have used the search button and per this post http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/wheels-tires/239186-275-70r17-stock-suspension.html it sounds like they will fit but I've also read other posts that say they won't fit. That's why I want more recent feedback from anyone who currently might have this setup.
