biggest size AT tire i can fit

Ok im gonna get a 2.5 in Readylift Spacer Kit for the fron done tomorrow and I am gonna keep my stock 17 in wheels that came with the truck on and just get bigger tires..

My question is..does anyone have an 07 that they did this too..so i know what tires to go out and buy..more so the size than the brand..Readylift is doing the lift on the front..i have heard of a few sizes..so im tryin to fit the biggest that will fit safely and correctly..i was told a 285/70/17 might be the golden one..or if anyone knows otherwise..please let me know..thanks and ill get pics up as soon as everything is done

with a 2.5" lift you can probably run 33's (285/70/17) on an aftermarket wheel. something with a 4.5" backspace with some wheel well, fender trimming. however i believe the stock rim is like a 5" backspace so there may be a bit more rubbing including some on your uca's. so a 265/75/16 should work with stock wheel. thats a 31.6" wheel

You need to get spacers and longer lugs to keep the factory wheels. I need to sell my READYLIFT spacers still new in box for best offer. Paid $250, asking $200. Thx.

I was trying to do exactly the same that you want to do on my 2008 Tacoma TRD Sport, but during my research I found out that you will have some rubbing problems on the inside, some people recommend wheel spacers, but there is people that don't recommend them, so is up to you if you want get spacers, but without the spacers I dont think that it will work.

hey malfunktion..

I have a 2008 TRD Sport Dbl cab, I installed a 2.5" Toytec Front Spacers, and I wanted to get 285/70/17 tires on stock wheels at the beginning, but on my research I found out that I needed to use 1" wheel spacers, so I decided to get some new wheels, I ordered some procomp wheels 17x9 series 608, when they got here I went to the tire shop and try on those 285/70/17 BFG All terrain, when they mounted a tire I was having some rubbing issues with the mudslaps and the plastic of the front, maybe if I would have made some trimming on the front plastic, and remove the mudslaps there would be no rubbing, but my main concern was that the front bumper was to close when turning, so If I want it to go off roading I would probably have some big issues with that tire, so what I ended up doing is buying some 265/70/17 BFG AllTerrain and they look great.

I hope these helps!!!
