Hey guys, I'm new to the forum and new to Tacoma's as well. A few weeks ago I bought a 2011 Double Cab in Pearl White. Yesterday I had a factory roof rack installed (we're kayakers) and I have a really nice black and white look forming here. I'm going to add black nerf bars next, but I REALLY want to upgrade the factory steel rims that are on the truck now.

I've looked on tirerack.com, but I'm wondering if you guys have used other websites and if there are some you'd recommend.

Also, I'll do some searching around, but I'd like to go with 17' rims over the factory 16's and although I'm not looking to put off-road tires on it, I think I'd like to go with a little larger tire as well.

Will I need to retro-fit the hub or anything (I'll be the first to tell you I am not a mechanic).

    Thanks,

    Eric

I've used Tire rack in the past on my other vehicle. I just used Discount tire direct for my Tacoma. Summit Racing also has a decent selection. It all depends on what type of wheel you're looking for.

Highly recommend discount tire. Excellent customer service, very fast shipping, and great prices. I'll be going back to them next time I need tires.
