Hey guys, will hopefully be throwing 35s on this summer, and I can't make a tire decision to save my life even after tons of reading and research. Was hoping people could chime in and help me out here. I'd like to try and spend just over $1000, but hopefully not $1450 for the set like the km2 would cost.

I live in NC so I don't do any rock crawling, mainly some trails and hitting deep mud.

    The choices:

Toyo MT: $1350 for set (if they're worth the money)

Federal Couragia MT: $900 for set
    [IMG]

    Cooper STT: $1000 for set
    [IMG]

Option 4: Trail Grappler: $1200 for set

Option 5: Shell out the extra for KM2 or something else (please specify)

I know a set of bfg km2's are a little on the high dollar side but I put almost 60k miles on them on an old Cherokee and that stump jumper could get it and get it good. best set of tires I ever owned.

Check out Atturo Trail Blade MT. We started selling them at the shop I manage and they are pretty sweet tires. And the price is right!!

Check out treadwrights (as others have recommended) and also check out the hankook dynapro MT.
The guard dogs (treadwright) or hankook MT's will be my next tires.

I looked up the atturo mud terrain and it looks very similar to the toyo mt. Almost like a knock off version?

It's pretty damn close and half the price too! They say that they were designed around a knife.

I am having the same problem, can't decide on a tire I had the couragia for my last set and really liked them but wanted to get something different this time. I got my set for $700 off of a guy in pa he also has a set up at the Rodger Ohio flea market my vote is for the nitto trail grapplers, tho the mud grapplers are my favorite they don't make them in the right size.
