Help---New wheels and tires

im looking for new wheels and tires for my taco but i dont know what i am looking for in technical specs on the wheels. i want to get 18x9 with 6x5.5 bolt pattern but what about backspacing and offset? what do i need? the choices i have are 4.53 backspacing with -12 offset or 5.71 bkspace with +18 offset. ( XD Addict XD798 wheels)

i also want to go with some bridgestone dueler A/T 695 but i dont know what kind of specs i need when i want to roll on 31 inch tires after i get my 2.5 inch leveling kit put in

 

4.5 backspace with 12 offset is pretty common around here and works me as well. Don't have any experience with the later...

I also have the 4.5" backspacing and -12mm offset, but on 17x9.
