I'm curious on what is the smallest lift necessary to run 285/70/17's? My truck is a 09 double-cab sport. Will 2 1/2" using adjustable Bilsteins work? Any information would be appreciated.

2.5 lift is good enough, might get lucky not having to do a cab mount chop.

I had a 3" lift and they rubbed the frame when flexing. Also had to do some trimming to clear plastic. Wheels are 17x9 with 4.5" BS. I now have 5" lift and no rubbing or trimming necessary to clear.
