Heeeellllooooo everybody. New guy here hoping this forums vast knowledge will help me with me wheel and tire decision.

Wheels are going to be Method Mesh Black. Problem is do I want them in 16s or 17s. I hear 16s fit cheaper rubber but I have no idea.

Now when it comes to tires I guess I have been reading a lot about 3.

Nitto Terra Grapplers vs Toyo AT2 vs General Grabers

I have stock suspension but plan on getting a lift in the future (25-40k miles). I know the 265/65/17 and 265/70/16 will fit just right. Just thought I would see what some opinions are on a configuration.

Think about getting the 16" rims. More tire sidewall and less rim is better for off road.
For tires, you'll find the most practical size is 265/75 R16. That size will work with stock suspension and still look ok with a lift, not to mention there are a lot more tire options in that size since it's more common than the 265/70 R16.

I went with 265/70/17s and they seem to fit fine.

I think I might go with the 17s for right now. I already have some tires for em and I think i could get discount to just swap em out for me.

Yeah 265/70/17 rub a little on my truck but only when i drive fast into driveways. what can i say i like to drive my truck like a truck haha. but id say 265/70 is the biggest you can go without having to lift anything more and youre gonna have to lift. i have the method 105 beadlock 17" and toyo open country as far as mud tires go theyre the most quiet on highway that ive tried out.
