I'm really torn between these, the BFG AT or the Nitto Trail Grappers when they come out in September or October.

I got 16" rims so I'm cool with that.

I think with our winters though It'll be between the BFG AT and the GY DuraTrac.

Anyone who's had both care to comment?

Yeah those Nittos have no siping so they'd be FTL in wet and snowy environments.

A neat thing about the Duratracs is that they have "tread" in the gaps...like little ridges for a little bit extra traction in snow and dirt. First time I've seen a tire have something like that.

    Still brand new.
Im in the process of picking up a set of (4) and walked by these at a Goodyear garage and they look pretty intense.

Is there any NEGATIVE feedback on these and what did you spend for 265/75/16?

Im a Northeaster so wintery conditions is of priority...

I went by the goodyear store today and checked these out. Best looking tire out there IMO that is still pavement/hiway friendly. Talking to one of the tecs there he said that they are not bad noise wise on the hiway, surprisingly quiet for how agressive they are. The lightest tire they make in the dura trac is a "C" load rating, heavy duty tire for sure.

I have a set of BFG AT on right now that I hate, thinking a set of dura tracs will be rolling home with me soon...

I only see these on the website as a 265/70/R17, any issues with these on a stock TRD Sport?

So, I just ordered a set of 265/75-16 DuraTracs yesterday at America's Tire. They price matched the Discount Tire Direct price of $161.00 each which saved me $22 per tire over the America's Tire price. I'm gunna mount them on 16x8 MB Razor chrome wheels. I think I got a fair price....Wheels, Tires, Lugnuts, Mounted, Balanced, TPMS....all for $1215.16. They offered to buy my Dunlops with about 3700 miles on them for $40 each which would get the price down to $1055. Can't wait.....should have them on in about a week! I'll post some pics when I get them installed.

I'm still debating.....white letters out, or in?

In. Normally I'd say out, but after seeing all the vehicles with the black coming off the tire, leaving big ass white spots, I'm going with in.

I totally had my heart set on some Duratracs, but I managed to scoop a wicked deal on some BFG AT's so I'm going that route. $600 moosebucks, 90% tread left 265x75x16. :D

You guys are going to hate me but I got mine for $650 brand new in Redlands Ca. with the stickers still on the tread, 265/75/16 and mounted, balanced and filled with nitrogen for $25 bucks. By the way I have the 10 ply. So far I love them.

JJ, your truck looks great with those Duratracs. Have you got a lift on there too or is that stock suspension?
