:confused:I am on the the verge of pruchasing wheels online, but I dont know if iI need new lugs nuts or not. I am looking to get the The Standard Method Race Wheels 17" x 8.5"width. I mean it freaking $200 to pruchase new Pro Comp lug nuts for all four wheels. I have a 2013 TRD Off-Road 4x4 with only 14k milies on the baby.

Some lug nuts dont fit the holes or are designed witha shank. So find out what your rim choice needs measure your stock nuts and see if they will work.

Lug nuts are all the same, you don't need expensive ones. Had to switch mine out when I changed to h3 wheels, got a set of lugs from pep boys for like $35

There are a couple styles of lug nuts, so you might need new lugs for the new wheels, but don't pay 200!! Holy shit! You can get a full set for 25 to 30 online

You need new lugs if the wheels you get are lug centric. Your stock alloys are hub centric and use different style lug nuts. so it depends. Also, like stated above you can get lugs from other sources.

Not even close. My rims required different lugs to fit into the smaller holes.

A couple years ago I needed a new set of lugs for new wheels. They were Pro Comp alloys and costed like another $40
