Advice on Tire / Wheel Purchase for 2014 4x4

My new taco (Access Cab, 4x4, SR5 2.7l, 5 speed manual, magnetic gray) is coming with the stock SR5 steel wheels in a few weeks,
and I'm looking to upgrade. Aside from the LCE header, I've been researching wheels/tires on here, and I'm looking for alloy wheel / tire combo that will
- keep or maybe slightly improve MPG
- Give me decently quiet highway ride & low noise
- Give me some minimal offroad ability - I will likely almost never go
off, but at a friends farm in some fields or dirt roads

I may put winter rated tires on the steelies, so winter performance is not critical.

I like the Michelin LTX MS/2 - people have said good things. My
possible wheels are the FJ TRD silver alloys (I think about 29lbs, but its been contradicted) and the new TRD 17" alloys (which seem lighter at 26lbs, but again I've seen the weight only mentioned once - if I'm wrong correct me).

All three combos below give me a weight of between 53lbs and 56lbs. Will I take a mileage hit (or gain) with any of these?

I assume these are all comfortable as they are the LTX MS/2. The first one is narrower (7.6" versus 8.1" versus 8.4").
Is this width difference going to be visually obvious?
Will one of these combos be better for mileage?
Which of these would look best?

Thanks

If you want a lighter wheel, look into Konig Countersteer Offroads. It's around $700 for a set of 4 and apparently each wheel only weight 18lbs.

I used goodyear fuelmax tires on my truck and they helped a bit actually. The tread lasted for while too. there's much lighter wheels out there also. Look at tirerack.com and all the other big names. They have decent prices too

You will drive yourself nuts trying to buy tires and wheels that way.
Wheels: Pick the ones you want to see on your truck. You are going to be looking at them every day. Don't second guess your choice.
Tires: Great choice, I went with the Firestone Destination but they rate about the same. Drove the entire Northeast winter without a single issue.
Don't fret the MPG, you're not buying 35's. 1 or 2 mpg isn't a budget buster.

My dad's F150 that I drove through high school had the MS2 tires on it. We drove that thing in the mud, up really rocky mountainous areas for hunting, and on the highway a plenty. Never had any problems, they're a smooth ride, great handling. Can't go wrong with them.
