I'm deciding on getting toyo mud terrains or NITTOS trail graps. Which tire would y'all choose.

Don't know the price difference but a buddy of mine has the NITTO trail graps and he says their the best tire he's ever had.

Partially to BFG's myself. But I've heard some really good things about the NITTO's.

    Appreciate the reply bud:)
Toyo are bout 50$ more. I'm probably gonna get the NITTOS cause the tire looks more manly.

I have heard good things about the Toyo tires. Also, I have heard that they are heavy. I have also heard that the Nittos are a softer tire and wear quicker. I have BFG's so, don't take my advice as fact.

Toyo and Nitto are sister companies. Of course Toyo being the "luxury" brand of the two. The tires are identical in performance but the only difference is slight tread block design

I ran the Toyo MTs on my Tacoma and now have them on my Tundra. Great tires! As mentioned above, they are indeed heavy, but they're also damn near bulletproof off-road.

I got these Toyo open country AT2s LT265/70 17x9 this weekend after raising my Tacoma a bit:) my buddy had a set of these last 70k miles on his GMC 2500, so I've been eagerly planning to get these anyway. I ordered them from America's Tire, which actually carries Nitto, and they also looked nice and aggressive. (if you look up Toyo on Wikipedia, you will find that the merged with Nitto decades ago. ) nonetheless, I'm sure they are comparable, I'm just using the bias of my buddy's recommendation. And no complaints of the 10 ply yet!!

I just got my Toyo's a couple of weeks ago. Still love the look and the tide. I need to get them off-road.dezadaju_54febded91395bf2ce1b5290928e0d8752d13cb3.jpg

I have the Nitto trails and I love them, my buddy has the Toyos on his jeep and swears by them. It's all opinion so either tire is a great choice. Good luck

    ^ This

Having said that I have a set of Toyo MT's that have 40K on them and are still going strong. Great tire for most situations you will find yourself in although as mentioned above they are a little louder on road

    And a pic just because

I like both but I have had Nitto Grapps in 285 and now 35's and everybody here has Toyo M/T's.

On my second set of Toyos. Only complaint is I wish they were as loud as the mud grapps lol

I personally think the Toyos look better.

The Toyos will also last longer, the Nittos are a softer compound.
