does anyone know where to buy wheels that look like this? matte/flat black with round holes and a machined outer lip? 16x8 with 4.5" backspacing.

mickey thompsons look similar but it's not the same wheel.

these have the black dashes on the lip of the wheel.

mickey thompsons could work though. the only other ones i've seen are those ion alloy wheels but they are gloss black which i don't like.

That's Zach's (04LTtacoma) truck. Those are Eagle Alloys Series 185. Not sure if the first pic you posted are the same..

now the question is which ones to get and to go with the center cap or without?

on the ones without the center cap is that just the hub showing or some kind of cover for the hub?

the mickey thompsons are 4.5" backspacing with 0 offset and the eagle alloys are 4" backspacing with -11mm offset.

    will both work?

my ivan stewarts are 4.5" backspacking with 0 offset that i have now. so the MT wheels are the same measurements as the ivan stewarts.

just found a thread saying the eagle alloy 185's don't fit unless you go with 17" wheels.

    http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/wheels-tires/252709-eagle-alloy-185-no-longer-has-rivets.html

so that's out of the question. guess mt wheels are back in the game now.

...but the pictures above show them as 16's on a 2nd gen taco so i don't get it. do they fit or not? or did they grind down the brake caliper or something? i don't want to do anything like that.

anyone know if the MT wheels fit?

well i found out none of these wheels fit the tacoma 2005 or newer unless you use spacers or grind down the caliper or something.

it's stupid to me these people make a cool looking wheel but they don't make it where it will fit the number 1 selling midsize truck in america?

i guess they make them to fit jeeps and not tacomas. lame.

even these pro comp wheels that look similar in this thread: http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/buy-sell-trade/28634-fs-pro-comp-8179-black-wheels.html

they seem to all work on 1st gen trucks but not 2nd gen trucks. :(
