I came across these Nitto Instagram posts this morning. With hashtags #G2 #terragrappler #makethebestbetter,
it would appear Nitto is gearing up for yet another tire launch.

Who's ready for the Nitto Terra Grappler G2?

I saw these come out this month I think? Can't wait, my tires are bald as hell. They look pretty good from what's being teased.

Hey Discount Tire, I saw you guys have them in stock via Direct. Heard any customer feedback on them yet?

I'm looking to purchase a good daily driver tire with an aggressive off road look, and these might be the ones. I hope the tread life will wear better than its predecessor the Terra Grappler.

Are you looking at the Terra Grappler G2 or the Terra Grappler?

I had Terra Grapplers put on once and the tread life was horrible, I had to have them replaced after 20,000 miles. Hence why I would like to know if the G2 is any better.

the first terra grapplers. that was my main concern too, nitro didn't give a mileage warranty, which is why I'm kinda leaning towards the togo atII

We don't have any first hand experience with the Nitto Terra Grappler G2 at this time.

Nitto has a reputation for a smooth riding tire that is easy to balance.

Let us know your opinion of them if you put them on.

A lot of people love their TG's. I have nearly purchased a set on a couple of occasions. I like how they are siping the lugs to full depth on the G2, and bridging the tread blocks.

My TG's have been on the truck for about 35,000 miles (not quite 2.5 yrs) and im actually about to upgrade to Trail Grapplers 35" and a shop offered me 400 off if I give them my TG's. I think I paid a little over 200 for them originally, so after that many miles and still getting 100/tire seems pretty good me. The sad part is I dont need the tires right now, just ready to make the jump to 35's because I anticipated the tires running out around 40,000 (i guess i should be happy though.... :)

I am very satisfied with Nitto

Kyb shocks/struts, Nitto Terra Grappler G2's in 285/70R17.
Whats the prices for the G2's? Someone should tell them to start making them for 16' wheels... Id rather get the G2's than the originals, but they start at 17's....

I had a set of LT285/75R16 TGs on my 96 4Runner and got somewhere between 60 & 70k out of them. I was looking at the G2s at my local tire shop & they told me the G2s have a 50k warranty. The only thing they had in a 285/70R17 was a P rated tire though.

A lot of people are asking for the G2 in 16". I'm not sure if this is currently in the works or not but given the original TG sizing, the G2 will likely be available in the same 16" sizes at some point.

Here's the link with our mail order pricing on exsisting G2 sizes: Nitto Terra Grappler G2 by size

Yea, i looked at DTD almost every day and seen that they started in 17"... Thanks for the heads up. Maybe if there was enough demand for them?
