I am about to install Spidertrax spacers. In the directions it says to have someone press on the brakes to keep the hub from spinning when tightening the bolts.Has anyone here installed these by themselves by prying something on the brake pedal to keep it compressed?

I used a prybar between the studs and just torqued it down. Having someone else sounds alot easier though.

I installed mine by myself today as well and just put a piece wood on the brake pedal.

What size spacers? I have considered these.
Would these prevent rubbing from larger wheels and tires without a lift?

They are 1.25. I believe they will stop on the suspension components but they will probably rub the wheel wells.

They are 16" TRD rims with 265/60. They are what came on the truck when I bought it. I am gradually lifting it. I just ordered Boss coil overs. I am going to level it out then save up a little more and install Dakars.
