33x12.50 r18 LT converting to 285/75/r16

Hello,

I am a new member and just got my Tacoma today!!!
it came with 18 inch pro comp wheels and 33x12.50 r18 toyo MT's

I do not like the tires or wheels and reaaaally want

the all black mickey thompson side bitters r 16 and the General grabber at/2
in 285/75/r16

my question is, If the truck is clearing the 33's now ( no rubbing and not sure what kit it has on ) is it safe to say it will clear the smaller General graber?

yes, they will fit perfectly.....

 

They will fit if you get the same backspace as the current ones. The 285 is an inch more narrow.

 

Thank you guys for your help. The old tires ( on it now ) are 18's with 5 back space
the new mickey thompsons 16's have a 4.5!
