Just picking up my 2014 (stock) Tacoma Double Cab tomorrow and want a taller tire but don't want to go with the 265 70r 17 as they seem to rub for some, plus I don't want that much tire.

The calculators show the 245 75r 17 being just a hair shorter 31.6 (265/70r) vs 31.5 (245/75r) but I was hoping because they are an inch less in width they would fit without rubbing with the stock suspension.
    Thanks

I do not run that size but for what its worth, I do run 265/70r17 on stock sport wheels and do not rub with the front mud flap removed.
Just don't run the BFG's they are really heavy. In fact you could probably just run a P rated tire if you are concerned about them being too much tire.

SL rated Toyo ATII's are only like 41 pounds I think.

Usually don't have trouble rubbing from a smaller tire. Bigger = rubbing not smaller.

It's taller by over an inch, not smaller . Not as wide but taller.
