    Am I the only one that finds it very very hard to believe the Factory Jeep wheel survived the 10,000' fall? I can see the tire handling it but damn that rim sure as hell had to bend the way that thing landed.

    I'll have to look. I was planning on 35/32 front and rear.

    Not sure why Toyota suggests the other way around.

    Just got some 285/70r/16's KO2's put on and they are pretty amazing so far. I came from Nitto Trail Grappler 285/75r/16's with 30k. There is a huge difference. Example: Road noise...didn't realize how noisy the Nitto's were until I changed to new tires. Agility.....my truck moves faster, easier, side to side (extreme difference). Speed..... starting from a dead stop and rolling speed is smooth and fast (very noticeable). Traction....is still the same from what I can tell. I'm on a half tank of gas, so I don't know what it might do for MPGs, but I'm pretty satisfied, but who isn't with a new set of tires!

    Bilstein/Icon 2" suspension lift with wheelers 5 leaf springs, 7-pin relocate through bumper, bfg KO2s, redline hood struts, immryo mirror relocation, stubby antenna, dipped emblem, heated mirrors, Jason trek cap, led fogs, debadged
    I've had my KO2's for two weeks now and have been pretty happy with them so far. I got them in the 265/75/16 size. Needless to say, they're a far cry heavier than the dunflops that came stock on the truck, and I've noticed a significant drop in throttle response. That being said, the traction in the wet on pavement is good and mud is better. I'm running 35/32 psi and the ride is choppy but I don't think that'll change with an E rated tire. Haven't been able to do a proper chalk test yet. Its too wet around here!!! :(

    From what the weather man says, I'll get to try them in snowy/icy conditions this weekend! I'll follow up once I get a chance to play around a bit :D

    Got mine put on a few days ago and have been pretty impressed so far. Tired them out in some light snow on their first day and they've been great. Very quiet, and handle on the road great. I am interested to see what they'll do to my mileage considering I have a 4 banger.

    Went on black friday to discount tire in Arvada, CO. Got BFG AT KO2's 285/75R16 on my wife's Ram 2500.
    Took them 2 hours, even with 6 bays going. They forgot to put the hubcap back on tight, and it was rolling down the road when they took it for the road test. My wife ran out and grabbed it.
    I'm planning to get Spidertrax 1.25 spacers on the Taco, and get the Hankook Dynapro AT-M 285/75R16's. Supposedly the spacers provide enough clearance for the wider tire.
    I keep reading the Hankooks have very good traction, and long life, and aren't TOO loud.

    Measured height as mounted and sitting:
    Front = 32 1/8" (Front GAW is 2,480 lbs)
    Rear = 32 3/8" (Rear GAW is 2,100 lbs)

    Initial impressions with only a few road miles:
    The ride quality, even with Load Range E tires, seems to be much better than the Rugged Trails that were replaced (OE tires had just under 26,000 miles on them.) I attribute this to weight increase of each tire being better matched to the spring and damping rates of the OME lift. The RT's were 38lbs each and the new TAKO2's are 59lbs each. It seemed with the RT's that the suspension was very harsh over bumps, but the TAKO2's are much smoother.

    They ride pretty quiet, even more so than the RT's they replaced.

    I did some pre-emptive trimming inside the front wheel wells, and so far have not had any rubbing on street-usage. The front mudflaps were ripped off long ago (one literally by a curb, the second by my hands minutes later.) The TX Pro wheels are 16x7.5 with 4.62" of BS, which is just under the recommended 4.5" BS. Since I'm running LR UCA's, I have enough clearance there as well. I'm sure under some stuffing, I'll find a few more areas that need attention.

    Overall, with the limited experience so far, I REALLY like these new tires. As more miles get put on, I'll report back.

    Your truck looks great, Scollins. Thanks for the detailed overview!

    @ShawnR - Thank you for your business. Let us know what you think of the tires after you get some drive time on them. We apologize for the loose hub/center cap!

    Tires handle great in the rain on the street. I felt very safe.

    Picked mine up on Black Saturday from America's Tire. 265/75/16

    2014 Stock suspension, stock off road wheels with 1.25" Spidertrax wheel spacers all the way around.

    Big handling improvement over Rugged Trails. I can definitely feel the sturdier sidewall of the KO2 when turning and over rough roads. Slight rubbing on the flap in front of the front wheel well. Removed the front flap and all is good. I'm thinking I may have the tires flipped for the white lettering out and or mount them to 16" spare steelies.

    Nice looking set Wheresjames.

    I just returned from 5 days on the Mojave Trail, mine performed perfect. Went from one foot thick sand to volcanic rock. Aired down to 26# and had good ride as we moved on and off dirt. Going down and back, hit some heavy rain, no slipping or sliding, and felt pretty secure in them.

    I will post some pics this week, but this ride, while really fun, do not go alone. Have another vehicle.

    I disagree, the KO2s are doing great on wet roads, maybe because the added siping, and excellent just like the KOs in sand. I do agree on the mud though...

    2014-12-06151924_zps989c93fd_5c0ef789fb816c3fa0c6ac8cacc01252a5c6839f.jpg

    but if you want MUD performance get a MUD terrain tire.
