Both of those look really good! My wheels and tires both showed up 2 days early! Hopefully, I'll have time to get them mounted tomorrow in between work and picking up the little one from school... Pics to follow!

I'm still contemplating putting my new ko2s on. I bought them only because I got them for a good deal. I currently have Cooper atps. Just wondering if these ko2s are as good as the atps on the wet roads here in the northwest.

3,000 mile update on 265-75-16 KO2. I love my new KO2's for winter and off road. they ride pretty smooth on the highway. wear is good, no wear to speak of really. I travel 50 miles a day (no big deal). I will be putting on factory TRD sport tires and wheels for the summer, losing 3+MPG just isn't worth it for me. I'm only getting around 225 miles to a tank compared to 300. I can't knock them for that though, they are more agressive than the original BFG that came factory on the TRD off roads. Excelent purpose built tire, just not a good ALL weather and ALL terrain tire.

Took my truck up a gravel service road for the first time in the mountains today since getting the KO2s. Felt like it was being beaten. Was wishing I had a set of P rated Generals. I believe I'd have to let half the air out of these things to match the cush ride of the P rated GG AT2s.

Yeah, but sometimes or a lot of the time it's not convenient. It'd be awesome if it was in cab controlled on the fly and fill too.

That wheel/tire combination looks good. Are you running wheel spacers or is that the amount of offset that those wheels come with? 17x8.5's right?

I didn't mean it was the tires fault. I was just saying how they rode on rough gravel compared to another tire. Nothing to it. Plenty people are thinking about getting them and don't know and most are curious of feedback in differnent conditions.

If it was going to be a day on the trail thats one thing, sure air them down "prepare" as you say. But if you frequent situations/conditions/roads or whatever randomly for shorter periods, airing down all four every single time then airing up isn't ideal (and a lot of ppl don't have the set up to do so anyway). And definetly isn't as quick as turning on your wipers, lights or popping it in 4w drive.

Truck looks sooooo much better!!! Had 3 guys at the tire shop compliment my truck while it was still on the lift.

Running 265/75r16. I've only put 10 miles on them, but they feel great so far. Little stiffer than the Fierce Attitude MTs they replaced... But not too bad at all.

Definitely true... Every time I've had to get out, I turn around and stare at it as I walk away haha!

    Appreciate it!

Took them off-road for the first time, this evening. A mix of crawling around on rock waterfalls, some deep sand, gravel, and fast fire roads. No real mud, or snow, however. Could have gotten to some snow higher up in the mountains, but just didn't have the extra time to get up there.

So far, they are superb! I even take back my earlier comment about how they ride harsh on the pavement. They were quite a bit over-inflated, coming back from getting them mounted. I aired them down, and am going to start out at ~32 psi, and see how they wear. (Over inflated tires will wear in the middle of the tread, and under inflated will wear out on the edges.)

I have had a bunch of KO's on several different trucks over the years, and the KO2's seem to be every bit as good, and probably better.

Discount Tire on Shallowford has a KO2 285/75r16 on display inside. They also said they would've matched the $100 off promo code from Discount Tire Direct.

Can anyone else comment on the KO2 performance on wet roads? My set of tires come in tomorrow and with these being so new I haven't been able to find many reviews of the wet on-road performance which is a big concern for me here in the pacific northwest. I have only seen reviews for the predecessor KO model and those didn't seem to fair very well.

I just had mine installed on Friday and it was raining all day long. Probably put 80 miles on them on wet roads, including a 70mph interstate. I didn't have any issues and there were several places with standing water on the roads. These actually have sipes on them, so they should be much better than the old TA KOs.
