So I did a lot of highway driving on my 235/85R16 KO2s the past weekend. Quite nice, road noise not a problem at all. By which I mean the engine noise and wind noise were as loud or louder than the road noise from the tires. Quiet happy.

I agree 100000x however they only kind of look the same as the old ones, they are made of a new rubber and apparently have better grip due to better sipping in all terrain conditions.

You can look online for a direct comparison between the old vs the new.

I hated the old style in every possible way you could hate something.

I am reluctant to try these as I still have a bad taste from BFG.

When I plan to get new tires in a year or sooner I will need 6 if I plan to step up in size, Also I am not happy with only E rating being available for the sizes we use with 16 inch wheels.

Those mudders don't look too bad just loved the aggressive look of the duratracs and the performance is crazy

I had the KO and KM2 and now run Duratracs in a C rating. Love them.

I've had mine for about a week so far. My initial impression is they are pretty quiet and ride very nice on the highway. Rain driving seems to be pretty good as well. Certainly better than the stock Dunlops. Gravel driving is very good as well. The truck is predictable and planted in the loose stuff.

No sand, mud, ice, or snow experience yet.

Says right on the side by the size.

C has less sidewall plys which make it a lighter more flexible tire with a weaker sidewall.

E has more sidewall plys making it heavier and requires lower PSI to air down with a potentially thicker stronger sidewall for better puncture resistance.

Typical C vs E in same size is around a 10 lbs difference in weight per tire.

Good to hear, All new tires seem to perform like champs, its when they have 15-20k miles on them is when it gets dicey

Oh I agree. I'm hoping these perform well for me over the next few years. But ultimately time will tell.

..i dunno, im thinking these bigass donuts are getting a tad overrated. theres not enough of an update to some of these from one version to the next. i think i may try 265/65/17 when the stock 265/70/16 wear out. obviously now would be great, ha, but i may as well get my moneys worth from the oem tires.

Just picked up 285/17. Had to get Bilstein 5100's and remove the mud flaps. But overall I think they are great on road so far.
