And another question... Will toyo at2s even mount on this rim? It says a rim width of 7.5 to 9 is recommended but the stock steels are only 7" wide. Any input or experience is appreciated!

So I found out the answer to all my questions.. 285 75 16s fit just fine on the stock steel wheels. No spacers needed. I will post a pic of anybody has interest in seeing it.

Yeah I think they look right on there too plus no extra money spent and don't really matter if they get scratched. Maybe some wheel spacers if you want a little more aggressive look

Bumping an old thread. Transelow, it doesn't look like you did spacers but I wanted to see. I have some 285-75-16 A/T's I am going to throw on a set of steel wheels like this. Are yours rubbing the UCA at all after a little time with use and circulation of the tires?

Good to hear. Hopefully mine will work out the same way. I have the light racing UCA's vs your ICONs so I am hoping the clearance will be similar. I would rather not have to buy spacers or new wheels.

I realize there is a chance of rubbing on the fenders and inner fenders and possiblly the cab mount when the suspension is fully cycled with these tires, that doesn't worry me, I can trim those things. What I am concerned about is the UCA (I can't trim that or the tire). Cycling the suspension and turning the wheels back and forth shouldn't have a huge affect on whether or not the UCA rubs. The tire is either too wide or its not.

Expedition Overland did it with the stock TRD OR alloy wheels and they definitely cycle there suspension offroad. They reported minor rubbing but nothing to make them change their setup. I just wasn't sure the backspace and offset difference between the factory alloys and the factory steel wheels.

Plus these will likely be my highway tires. I have 255-85-16 KM2's for offroading. They don't rub and I have fully stuffed and locked them plenty of times. Same wheels no spacers.

Well, tanselow the icon UCA's you are running most be the golden ticket in this combo. I tried to mount up my 285 75 16's tonight on the stock wheels with no spacers and they wont even clear the UCA's. I have SPC light racing uca's which appear to stick out further but I kind of doubt stock UCAs would work either since they stick out just as far as the light racing version. I am not fond of spacers so I just put the 285s on the trailer.

Yeah with a 1" spacer I could probably do it but $200 could do well elsewhere on the truck so 255s will remain.
