When I was doing alot of research before I got my 6" lift someone told me that if you get the ProComp you must use a 18' rim but if you get the Fabtech you can use a 17' but nothing lower than that. I have the Fabtech with 17x9 rims.

    uhh...everything? lol
if you do the fabtech lift, you can run 16s with a wheel spacer. No 15s. 17s or bigger with no spacers...

dont remember about the procomp but i imagine its the same...

I would advise you to get 17s or 18s anyways, just dont get beadlocks. I highly doubt that you will ever need beadlocks. Just get some 17 Classic Locks or something if you want the beadlock appearance and save yourself time, money, and frustration of beadlocks. a 305/70r17 is the perfect size for that lift kit (34")

Thanks i appreciate the input. I am putting ahold on bead locks but i will need them eventually when i return home to north idaho. They re pretty nice to have when youre out there snowin around withlow tire pressure. but that is a couple years away so until then whats in my GO NOGO thread is going to have to do. 17 is just too much wheel for me. i want as much tire i can get without losing too much center of gravity. I thnk 6" is comfortable. if i regear some day i may go 34s but not much more.
