I've got a 97 2.4 with the original 14 in wheels and have 215/70r14 on it now. I recently came upon free 15" wheels (no hubcaps :D!) and wanted to know if anyone knows what's the largest diameter you can run before rubbing. I don't have a lift nor do I want to lift, just want a lil more height and traction than the lil car tires that's on it. Any input much appreciated. Thanks!

Well you said you have 15" wheels so 265/75r16 definitely won't fit that.

Stock suspension of 4WD and prerunners will handle the 15" equivalent of 265/75r16 which amounts to about a 31.5" tire.

    Guys, I have a 2wd not a 4wd..
30 inch tires don't even work on my truck so I know 31.5 is a no go.
