Correct. I have heard vastly varying reviews of them in mud as well, some good and some horrible.

Great suggestions bzzr! I was wondering what set of A/T's encompass both durability, performance, on the street, and off the road, AND last but not least decent looks. Aggressiveness meaning great traction and rugged design. You summed it up superbly! Ima go look into some of those tires you suggested.

Wet roads, and snow, the siping really helps out from my experience. I usually have the tire shop sipe the center section of the tread.

I would stay away from the duratrac if you don't stray from the pavement much. There are other options that will give you better tread wear with less road noise, not to mention better traction on dry pavement.

If you actually do go off the pavement, the duratracs will probably give you better traction in more places than the toyo's or the st maxx. The sidewall on the duratrac isn't the strongest in the business, but it's a good trade for a lighter weight tire IMO. I've never had a gouged or punctured sidewall using them.

All that said, I think the new BFG KOs are going to pick up where the old left off as the best jack-of-all-trades tire.

Im on my second set after I melted the first set down on some jagged rocks and a good 300+hp.

I usually dont buy a tire twice in a row, but these I may get over and over again, I love em.

So Discount Tire has 2 models of the Hankook Dynapro R10 ATM. One is 800.00 for 4 doesn't give the load range., and one is 712.00 in load range E. I noticed it states 0 sold on the 800.00 version, and 1 sold in the load E range. So it sounds like load E range is the way to go assume?

I have E rated ATm's in 275/70/17 , they are fairly stiff riding . Do you offroad at all ?
