Wanna hear your opinion on which all terrains are the most aggressive..

    1) Aggressiveness in regards of traction off road.
    2) Aggressiveness in regards of cosmetic design.

BFG All Terrains, Goodyear Duratacs are about the only two"Aggressively designed A/T tire on the market that are popular. There is also the General AT II and a bunch of other good A/T tires. The best way to get a feel for them is to go look at a local tire shop.

Thanks for the response tacolover! What about the brands that aren't popular? I kinda wanted to know what everyone else thinks about the subject based on experience using the specific brand of rubber.

Most aggressive AT... I'm gonna go with the MTR from Goodyear. These are not a mud terrain tire btw ;)

They are probably too aggressive for what you want though.

Check out the Toyo open country R/T as well. It's a cross between am MT and a AT. I just slid some on my truck. Came back from a road 1300 mile road trip to Kansas and they were well mannered on the road. Have not taken them off road yet. Hopefully I can soon.

By nature, an AT All Terrain Tire is not "aggressive" but the Dynapro has the M mud component added which improves mud/snow/ looks without adding the highway noise normally associated with a aggressive, mud terrain tire.

The new Toyo RTs are pretty aggressive, although they lack siping.

do you want a tire that is all terrain for decent looks and great street ride or do you want an all terrain because you are mostly on the street but need durability and performance off road? from there you can eliminate certain tires, for example the duratrac is not know to be a tough wheeling tire, but it looks aggressive and would be great for looks and mostly street driving. if you want tough well the new toyo's and the cooper st maxx (i have these and love them, always had mt before), the dick cepek are durable also (had their mt before and loved them) there is a brand new half new bfg all terrain out now also, but in limited sizes right now. it's the middle of the line i would say imo and with new side tread looks great. the hankook is a street tire imo..

I think thats why he put the winking face there ^ . Though I don't think they are specifically made for mud.. They are made specifically for combo of highway/offroading.

What would be the best one to run year round in the Northeast? These 265/65/17 factory tires that come on the sport are trash.

    Hey Guys,

What would be a good brand for mostly pavement use that has a more agressive look than the stock tires? I drive a lot of dirt roads with washboard, but to be honest don't do much of any true offroading (rockcrawling, mud etc).

Basically looking for something that looks badass but hopefully wouldn't have too big of an impact on MPG, highway noise, balancing issues etc.
