I bought these wheels about 4 years ago shortly after I purchased the truck. I can't remember what they are called, or who makes them. right now I'm running 265/75/16s, but I really wanna pull the trigger on some 285 km2's. I have a 3 inch lift, as well as aftermarket UCA's, so i'm pretty sure I can get away with 285's without any issues. I would just feel better if someone could ID the wheels so I could double check the backspace and offset of them!

Any help will be appreciated, thanks in advance!

Now I have to figure out the specs to see if they'll help facilitate a 33" tire. I see people running 285s on stock rims all the time so Id think my setup would be ok

I have the Light Racing control arms so I'm hoping to gain a bit of clearance there. If i'm reading correctly, the wheels have 0 offset and backspace of 4.5. Not sure how that translates though

Anybody have experience with a similar setup? 3" Lift, LR UCA's, AR wheels with 0 offset and 4.5 backspace, wanting to run 285's?

Stacked spacer lift, 22x12 wheels with stretched 33's, tow mirrors, bull nuts.
4.5 backspace with 0 offset on a 16" wheel is a proven combo for running 285's. You still may have to do the CMC, but you might be one of the lucky ones and get away with minor trimming.

Thx for the info! I'm going to go ahead and pull the trigger on the 285's. I'll post an update as to how it all fits.

No prob man, I kinda wish I got 285's myself, but the 265's have been great so far.

I've really been debating the 265s vs the 285s. 285s are purely for looks, whereas the 265s will still look good, and I won't have to worry about rubbing at all. I'm Trying to decide if the 285s are worth the extra work of trimming, and possibly a cab mount chop.....decisions decisions.

If you have the money to make them fit then its worth it. If your budget is spent on the tires already get trhe 265. However a cab mount chop is 100 bucks or less if you find a place to do it

Finding a place to do it is the issue. We JUST had a 4 wheel parts open up here literally this month. I wonder if they'd do the chop. I have asked about it at a couple of local mechanics....they either don't understand what I'm asking or flat out say no..

While I was measuring the space in my wheel wells, I came across a very unpleasant surprise! My rear driver's side bilstein 5100 was blown, coated in grease, totally out of commission. I don't know how I didn't realize that while driving.

Anyway, I went to 4 wheel parts and had them put new 5100's on the rear end. I replaced both of them, but left the front alone. I wanted the 5160's, but the price-hike was too much. 5100s=69 each, 5160=233 each.

While I was there I saw a tire I really liked, the Toyo open country a/t 2. I ordered them in a 285 instead of the BFG M/T. I'll post tomorrow with pics and whether or not anything is rubbing!
