I am trying to make a system where I can inflate/deflate my tires in the cab. I can make the hosing system and install a compressor with tank no problem. But I'm having a hard time finding a sort of gauge/relay that I can mount in my cab. I plan on running the hoses out every time but I want to plug it into the back of my truck and have a system where I can monitor my tire pressure and inflate/deflate while in the cab.
Does such a gauge with 2 switches exist?
I live in northern Canada and I am always playing with my tire pressure depending on what I'm doing. When wheeling in the snow I like to run at around 15 PSI and when towing in the summer I run at 34 PSI.
    * I am also going to be using the compressor to run a future front and rear air line lockers

I would love to be able to control tire pressure from in the cab. I also change tire pressure for snowy conditions. I carry a decent portable pump behind my rear seat that hooks up to my battery.

Probably with a blue tooth you could have a check valve that gets a signal from the cab for deflation anyway. To inflate your guess is as good as mine on how they do it remotely.

I was reading about some of these systems. They run an air line, it seems, somewhere through through the hub that has a rotational seal that connects to a quick connect (so the quick connect can rotate with the wheel and seal to a stationary air supply line). Its a bit of a complicated system.

    Example.

I agree. This wouldn't be a simple bolt on install. Probably a lot of custom built parts.

Oh and the leaks...... if it does your tire is flat! I have a friend that has a H1 with it and it's a constant battle!

^^^A lot of military trucks have them, usually larger ones like LMTV's. It will be complicated and prone to leaking if they are all custom one of kind parts. Need to find something that can have easily replaceable parts for when they where out.

essentially, it uses quick connects, which can be connected pretty fast. Once connected, you can sit in the cab while all 4 tires air up/down. Better than one tire at a time. I think it was a good cheap option/alternative to what op is looking for.

There are cheaper similar alternatives where you just make a 1 to 4 air hose, and do the tires that way, but it wont be as fast as the 2way air system.

Pic of 1 to 4 air hose. First pic on google

Yup, but 4 hoses instead of 2. Another cheap option for the op. still got to get out of the truck and run line, but nonetheless, may be more economical and less of a PITA

How does this work if you have a spinning CV shaft already going through the center of the hub? It just so happens the Hummer H1 and Mercedes AMG 6x6 both have portal axles, so the center of the hub can be plumbed:

Hmmm... I think maybe a plumbed in air system with a disconnect fitting on each side of the truck.

I use a portable pump that takes 4 minutes to add 20 psi per tire (15 psi sand pressure back to 35 psi street pressure). Going from tire to tire, then a little cool down time to put it away adds to the 16 minutes of actual fill time.

I also have the pump from Harbor Freight, it filled each tire in 3.5 minutes, so a tad faster. However, it stores in a bigger, plastic case... and it blows fuses... so the Tsunami one wins out.

Just curious but why wouldnt it be the same fill time whether its a 1-4 hose or the 2way setup? Wouldnt both be limited by the compressor and fill at the same rate?.

It looks like the 2way setup is just a fancier 1-4 hose with some added things (pressure relief and gauge)

What if you ran a 1 to 4 air line hose under the truck, and at the top of the inside of the wheel wells you install retractable hose lines? You could have a cap to protect each head from mud, dirt and snow. This way, you flip a switch in the cab to activate the pump, then you get out and each tire has its own hose just a couple feet above each tire valve.

Think about how a garden hose doesn't flow as fast when there is a longer line or a larger diameter. By putting the same output that usually fills one tire in x amount of time to 4 nozzles you are essentially decreasing the output to each tire by a fourth. Therefore it wil take longer.

    Hope that makes sense

That's pretty much what I was suggesting with the 2way air system in the links from nyco build page.

    See what op does.
