Do my tires look ridiculous? 33"s with 6 inch lift?

6" Procomp Coilover lift, 18 inch motometal wheels, too small of tires, magnaflow exaust, highly illegal tint, poser TRD off-road stickers, TRD intake, NFAB nerf bars, lots of love.
Well folks, the Idiot is back with another question. This has been bothering me for sometime, almost since I bought my taco back in August. I haven't owned it very long, but I've wanted a tacoma ever since the redesign in 2005, back when I was just a little kid. So when I bought my beloved tacomama, and it was a dream come true, it had a 6 inch procomp lift already installed on it, but it needed new tires. Me being the idiot I am, purchased the vehicle and put brand new Bridgestone tires on it. The old tires were completely bald, and worn unevenly. First week of senior year was coming up, and I needed new tires pretty badly. So I drove over to Firestone without doing any research, and I had no clue about tire sizing and all that, all I told them is that I needed tires that would work everywhere. So they hooked me up with some new tires for a pretty solid price tag, and I was on my way. I believe them to be 285/70/R18's but I could be wrong. Not knocking the tires at all, they're fantastic. I've taken my adventure truck quiet few places, and they grip up very well. But after a short amount time I started to notice that they looked a little disproportionate on my truck. I have this big lift and lots of clearance between my tire and fender, and these tiny little tires on this big lifted truck. I hate to refer to the taco as big, but hey why not. Did I choose the wrong tire size? Do you think it looks goofy? I just want an honest opinion, and I want to know if I'm better off going down to 17 inch wheels because tires are easier and cheaper to buy? Just remember I am an idiot. Also for you utah guys out there, you'll recognize the pics from out on Bacchus highway, seems as though SLC is the yota truck capital of the world!

    Personal preference I'd say.
    I've always liked atleast a 35 on a 6" lift taco

Think of the positives tho.. Better gas mileage and less stress on the tranny

Looks fine to me, man. Youre saving yourself the headache of possibly rubbing tires and probably having to regear staying where you are, assuming you're still running stock gears.

I think its fine as well!! Also as mentioned, gas mileage, power, most likely rubbing tires.... there might be a few inches above the tire but the bottom corners of those fenders are pretty close as is.

I actually like it a lot. Makes the truck look tall aggressive and badass.

When I first saw the photo I was wondering what you were talking about.

Give it some time. The guys at the shop did the perfect thing. You are driving yourself nuts needlessly.

looks fine to me. probably would look better with 35s, but definitely doesn't look "dumb" or anything like that as it sits.
