Removed coal filter, Also installed AFE air filter. Roof rack with custom diamond plate air diverter.
Same rims (still riding on my 20s) but better off road tires. Firestone Destinations ATs ride is smooth and aggressive enough for me. Can't wait to test them out, now just trying to convince wife to let me get a liftkit.
I may also plastic dip my rims black if they look good I will get them powder coated when possible.

Sorry to bump an old thread but I'm about to pull the trigger on these Cooper Tires as well. Not a whole lot of reviews but saw these tires in person on a Dodge ram 2500 and really liked the aggressive tread pattern. Dodge owner said the tires are quiet and made his rough ride a bit smoother. He has 21K miles on the tires and they still looked like they had a lot of life left in them. Said he got them at NTB so I checked out their site today and was happily surprised to see they are on sale:

NTB until July 4th has a Buy 2 get 2 Free offer. After the fine print, charges for install, road hazard, lifetime rotation/balance, alignment & taxes it comes out to: $629.45. If I didn't pay for an alignment it would be right around $500 which I think is a pretty damn good deal for truck tires.

If the OP still has these tires, any update since purchase?

I bought a set of 285/75/16 back in november and I love them! Ride smooth and quiet on road, and preform well off-road. I've yet to get stuck with these on but I also primarily stick to jeep recovery lol

Hey guys, well when I had them on my Tacoma , I loved them. They are deff not a loud tire and are smooth on the road. But I don't have any further info since u sold the truck and have my set of tires sitting in the garage waiting for my 4runner in the winter time.

Thanks for the replies. I booked an appointment for Friday with NTB and will get a set put on. Going with the standard size that came with the truck, 265/65/17.

That's what I had on my truck. Do you have a lift? If not you may rub the front mud flap just a tad at full lock but simple to remove

Yes, have already put 4000 miles on these tires due to a road trip to the Smokey Mountains. Tires are quiet on the highway and ride nice and smooth. Did a little bit of off roading in them while traveling to our campsites and everything went well. Put the truck in 4x4 a few times and no issues with traction on muddy roads. Overall i'm satisfied with these tires. They have a nice aggressive tread pattern and I personally like the white lettering out. Can't beat the price either.

I did like these tires but I am no longer on them. I went to a new wheel and tire setup to go along with my suspension lift. Overall they were a very good tire especially for the price.

Sort of a dead thread...but anyway: I recently upsized to 265/75/16 with these tires on a '09 DCLB. No mods to vehicle. After install had no rubbing or other tire size issues. The increase in diameter over OEM has corrected my formerly very optimistic speedo readings to true speeds as confirmed by GPS.

A few thousand miles later impressions: My Tacoma is a 95% paved road vehicle. The remaining is about 4% forest roads and 1% rugged trail. My normal loading is light to moderate. Not used as a tow vehicle except for a light utility trailer. The noise, ride, handling, and traction are very good with these tires on pavement and good for traction off pavement. I'd classify this tire as an aggressive tread on road tire - they are rated mud/snow. I am very happy I upsized and are pleased with this tire selection. Price point was excellent IMO.

I was not trying to "style" or go for "rock climbing/mud bogging" ability in this tire selection. IF I was I would have gone for a LT version (stiffer/heavier construction/more load rating) with a true all terrain or mud terrain type construction and tread. Based on my actual planned use - these P-metric tires have worked out great. Buy your tires for how you honestly use them. For the 1% of my miles on difficult terrain...I air down a bit and are careful to protect the sidewalls.
