I really like Coopers ATs but I'm not familiar with that tread design. How well do they do in snow and ice?

It's between the Dynapro and the Rugged Terrain I think

    Window tint count?
I have these. In the "P" version. LT has a slightly more aggressive sidewall pattern

I hear ya, but my MGM cries for black wheels. Sure hope I like the tires, I took everyone's word for it. Now for the next decision white letters in, or out...

I'm very happy with my Firestone Destination AT I currently have 44k on them with 5/16 left... also most twice the mileage of factory BF Goodrich

I'm gonna pop in and toss a vote for Wrangler SilentArmors. I've had them on my Fullsize Bronco, the airfield's F350 and now on my Tacoma and I love everything about them.

They would last about 35k on the F350... doesn't sound like much, but it was on runways and taxiways with grooves for water removal cut in them... basically 35k of driving over a cheese grater... we had a set of Dunlops go bald in about 15k when the AF tried to go a cheaper route.

We've chewed several sets of these up at work. Terrible gravel and offroad tire durability wise. We've never had a set make it much past 20,000 km. We have put on a set of the new Toyo C/T tire on my work truck and another one at work. Hopefully they perform better or I'm going to be done with Toyo.

I've actually changed my order for the Hankook Dynapro to the P rated instead of LT rated tire. I don't plan on offroading, or towing, and based on research, the LT with its additional weight will cost me in MPG and road comfort.

They've done well for me in snow here in the PNW. On ice, well I haven't found a non-dedicated winter tire that does good on ice.

I shouldn't of said ice. Ice is better solved when you get to point that you need chains on your tires.

I like like the look of those tires and want to get some Coopers when the time comes. I'm definitely not digging the BFG ATs that came w/ my taco off the lot.

Hankook Dynapro AT/M and Cooper Discoverer AT/3. Which is better in soft sand? I plan on setting up a poll on these 2 tires as well as a few others later in the week. Probably after my NYE hangover.

I can say my Dynopros have done very well in sand. We went all over the desert a couple weekends ago and never got stuck, even in a couple really soft washes.

I wound up going with the BFG TA KO in 265 70R 17 on the MB TKO wheel. See my signature for final look. Very happy. I think I prefer the looks of the BFG, plus, they handle nice after two days driving compared to my OEM bridgestone duelers.
