So I'm trying to buy some wheels, I've got a three inch lift, the wheels are 17x9 +1 offset 6x139.7 bolt pattern 106.4mm hub. There is nothing listed about the back spacing. I'm wondering if they will fit? I'm planning on running a 285/17/16. Will these clear everything is there anyway to know ? I've read the sticky on wheels and stuff and it just confused me more. Sorry in advance if I missed it.

I bought the same size wheels, but my offset is 4.75". If you bought wheels with a 1" offset, they will not fit. They will hit your suspension before you can even put a lug nut on it. Stock wheels on the Tacoma come with a 4" offset. I hope this helps.

    Backspacing and offset are different.

So if they have at least 4.5 of back spacing they should fit?

Depending on the width of the tire. If you are going with a 9" wide wheel, I'll recommend to make sure you have a 4.75 back space. Those 285 are really wide. My friends that went with the same setup but with a 8" wheel had to trim for rubbing issues. With the 9" I haven't rubbed once with my Pro Comp M/T.
