I have pro comp 7031 wheels in 17x9 (-6 I think), but I will be adding Spidertrax 1.25" spacers. I have icon extended travel coils set at 3" of lift. I do not want a cab mount chop. Minor trimming is fine. It is between 275/70/17 Goodyear MT/R or 285/70/17 Mastercraft MXT. Will the spacers help if I did get 285's. I was thinking 275's would be less rub and better for stock gearing. Thank you for the help!

You're going to create more rubbing issues by running spacers with an aggressive offset. You can probably get away without doing the CMC by leaving the spacers off and running 275s.

Thank you! Do you think the spacers will make it worse?

yes...spacers will make it worse. think of it this way...when your steering wheel is turned all the way to one side, you have maybe an inch of clearance between the tire and wheel well...now add a spacer. its gonna push the wheel out towards the fender/wheel well.

Well I guess I'll start with 275's and add the spacers down the road and if they rub to much I will either CMC or remove them. Thanks for the help!

Anyone on here run 275's with stock rims and no lift? is a lift needed to fit 275's?
