It's time for tires on my "11 DCLB Sport and I'm really trying not to spend $1000 on Michelins. Anybody running the Uniroyal Cross Country tire taht can give me real world reviews? My local mom and pop tire dealer that I've bought tires from for a long time says Michelin bought Uniroyal and they've been having good service out of the Uniroyal. It looks a lot like the Michelin LTX MS but is $300/set cheaper. And it's rated for 60,000miles vs 70,000 for the Michelin.
And to qualify, I don't do off road but want a good all around tire that will last a long time a ride good...(and get good traction at the boat ramp).
Also trying to decide whether to go to 265/70/17's but thats another story.
