Hey ya'll, i recently acquired a set of the Volk Nismo rims that it want to bolt to my truck. I'm planning to get the centerbore machined out and run 1.25" spacers. What I don't know is how the tpms will work out.

From research done, I think I can buy a programmable aftermarket set and have a tire shop sync them to the ecu, but I don't know which ones might fit the rims.

Would the factory ones from my steel wheels fit?

    Thanks for the help!

So, by doing research it appears the tpms on steel rims have a valve stem angled at 40° while alloys have tpms angled at 20°. Factory wheels.

The wheels I have seem to be about 20°. Just eyeballing it, it sure ain't 40!

So can I just buy a used set of factory alloy tpms sensors and if they do fit, get the ecu programmed to sync with them? The ecu should recognize any factory Toyota sensor, right? Regardless if my truck had steel or alloy from the factory.
