    Hey guys,

Looking at new tires to help my dismal MPG and road noise but still maintain great traction when I go down logging roads.

So far I'm leaning toward the ms2, I've ran them before and they are great except they look so bland, is there anything that comes close that looks a little better?

    I also like:

Continental CrossContact - great mpg, noise and price. Still a boring looking tire.

Rugged Terrain- looks better, more of a highway AT tire than any others. No clue about road noise / mpg

Michelin at2 - some people still complain about higher noise and worse mpg than ms2 although looks a bit better.

I read all over tirerack and these tires seem to be the tops for mpg/noise while still able to be decent off road.

And yes I've searched at nausium.

i just finished 62k on my nitto terra grapplers (still had about 1-2k on them). They were great tires! they wore even and as silent as can be on the highway and they still have a decent look to them. They did decent off road too. Im a prerunner and they have always helped me out in tough situations. Nothing like a mud terrain though but id recommend them

Good option, I have run the grapplers before and found them quiet but did hurt mpg.

I think I'll end up sticking with the ms2, the best highway tire bar none.

Cooper AT3 or the AT/w or even the ATP... great tires and work well for just highway use... And look good as well...

Avoid anything with Continental on them, those have to be the worst tires I have ever owned.

I love my M/S 2s in 245/75R16, gained 2mpg over stock. We have ice and snow/slush the first of the week, didn't have trouble going any where I wanted. I also have had them in light mud/slick ground at the farm and they haven't left me stranded yet.
