I'm thinking about going this route, but tire shops around me want $25 x 4 tires + taxes and fees (tire tax & disposal in CA) if I bring in my own tires. Sheesh.

I just ordered 4 Copper ST Maxx's. Placed 2 separate orders for 2 tires at a time and ended up paying $720. That's one hell of a deal! We buy tires at a deep wholesale discount at the Auto Parts Store I manage, and I still saved $104 from my wholesale cost.

Scott, try it on a computer if you didn't already try. I ended up using my computer. It was a pain in the ass trying to use the app or phone browser to look.

Should I take advantage of this now or wait til I need tires? I have a wedding and honeymoon coming up... Current Cooper ATP's only have 31k miles.

I definitely wouldn't pass up the deal. I couldn't even buy the tires that cheap at dealer/wholesale price.

I can't afford the tires I want right now, but I can afford the wheels I want, and 100 dollars off is basically 4 for the price of 3!

I pulled the ol' trigger on a set of Cooper Discoverer AT3 tires in 267/75-16! I decided I'm willing to pay a bit extra for mounting/balancing at the local tire dealer because they are missing out on profit on each tire. Their lowest prices on this set of tires was $129 per tire, or $589 out the door (buy/mount/balance). I'll be buying my own for $400, plus $25 per tire to mount/balance.

There's also the retro projectors, which are cheaper.

Well this question requires a personal opinion response. Even so, if you asked me, here's how I would make that decision :D

    1. Do I have savings already dedicated towards wedding / honeymoon expenses?

    2. If Yes -> Do I have enough leftover to allow me to buy tires also?

    3. If No -> Don't buy tires & keep using the good tires you already have on your truck.

Dude it's your wedding & honeymoon....much more important that a tire sales event  You'll have to make lots more decisions like this once you're married! Keep it simple :).

Anyone know if the Method Wheels have the 4.5 backspacing? They only show it as having 0 offset.

Method's website shows they only offer them in 4.5BS.

    Looking at the 16x8

Ordering tires tonight, going to do 2 orders to get $100 off each order. Going to even attempt to submit the rebate and hope for the best, it will show up 4 tires on my PayPal receipt. What is the advice on the spare the current one will obviously be a different size now is it a must to replace immediately?
