I'm currently split between the GG AT2's, BFG KO2's, and the Toyo Open Country AT 2's. Will be getting 285/75/16's and would like the road noise to be as minimal as possible for that size of tire. Traction is obviously great but I'm not frequently doing intense mud and snow work so can forfeit a little of that for a more tame on road tire. Any opinions?

I have KO2 in that size and I love them. Can't speak for the others.

Any major tire noise increase from your stock tires? Also did you have any clearance issues? I have TC UCA's and 2.5 inch Icon lift so I'm thinking I'll be safe but not sure.

No noticeable noise. I have roughly 2-1/2", I did do some trimming a cab mount chop and removed the front flaps.

Now after lots more research I'm not even sure which size to go with. I'd like something to fill out the wheel well since I have 2.5 up front and 3.0 of lift in the back. I'd prefer not to have to cab chop to make fitment work but don't really think I like the 255/85 look either. Any suggestions on how to balance out the truck with a decent A/T tire would be greatly appreciated.

I went with the Hankook DynaPro ATM's. Don't really notice a difference from the stock Dunlop's for noise, very happy with the lack of noise. Have had them on some pretty rough forest service roads, rock, gravel, light mud all good - so is heavy rain and standing water on pavement. Haven't had them in snow yet though. Wear is great so far, 13K and can't really see any.

In my honest and personal opinion, I would just go with a 265/75/R16 tire. It will look great and take up some fender gap, and will also not cause rubbing issues since its not crazy wide. And I vote for bfg ko2 or dynapro atm. Btw, truck looks great

Thanks! I ended up going with the 255/85/16 Cooper ST Maxx and am really happy with it so far. No rubbing issues at all. Handling is a little weirder with the much larger sidewall but nothing unbearable.

Oh cool, thats neat man. Ive never seen that tire size before, and yeah that's a big side wall, but it looks good. And cooper is a good company
