265 70 17 rub uca ?

    hey everyone was at the tire shop and was told i could not put a duratrac 265 70 17 on my stock 17 wheel because it would rub or hit the uca is this correct or is the tire shop wrong

    its 265 65 17 on there now but i see hear a lot of people run the 265 70 17 just curious if the uca is an issue?

    I went from the stock 265/65/17 Dunlop to 265/70/17 Goodyear Adventures on the stock rims. I have a 2014 TRD Sport 4x4. 4 thousand miles and no rubbing. Stock suspension by the way.

    you can go to 275 70 and they just start to rub...

    I'm really surprised at how many tire shops don't seem to know what they're talking about when it comes to tires, rubbing, and alignments... just my thoughts though

    lol i no i have been to a few they all say different things then one guy told me to check on here to find out forsure what works
