remove trd beadlock rings before new tires

    should i remove rings before new tires, or can tire shop put new tires on without them removed,, and what about balancing weights . if rings are off and they put weights on out side will it interfear with rings for reinstall,,, thanks

    I'm not sure how the dealer did mine, but I have tape weights on the inside of the rims for balancing. You should be able to request tape weights at your tire shop.

    The rings can stay on. They didn't touch them when I replaced the tires. They also use the stick on balancing weights.

    It's kinda of a pain to remove and reinstall the ring to be honest. You may also affect the balance of the wheel too, I suppose, if you add the ring on after it was balanced on the machine.

    This. I left them on when I put mine on and balanced them (I work in a shop so I can do my own). The tire just slide over them. It's just too much of a pain/really more time consuming. Just make sure that the shop uses tire lube. Plus the rings should be left on for balancing.
