Just installed a toytec lift with camburg UCAS and ome dakaar rear springs. Was wondering how much trimming would need to be done to run 285/75/17 tires on 17x8 wheels? Or should I stick with 285/70/17 for tire size..looking at nitro Terra grapplers for tires. Thanks in advance

Cmc and some of the bottom of the front fender would have to be cut for sure.

What 285/75's are you planning on running. I wish there where more tires in that size.

Was looking at the nitro Terra grapplers on 17x8 wheels with a 4.5 inch backspace. If its too much cutting I will go with 285/70 17

    A lot ... that's a 34" tire.

    CMC
    Cut fenders
    Flatten pinch weld
hammer the piss out of the fender well

IMO I would go with 285/70-17 even with those you will have to trim some. I think 285/75-17 would be a pain to make fit.

I'm running 285/70/17 and you can make it work. With the 285/75/17 as mentioned above you will need to do the cab mount chop and if you intend to go over anything bigger than a speed bump you will need to trim your fenders some. I've bashed mine with 33's. Just FYI

thanks guys i think i will stick with 285/70/17 then seems as though there is more work for the 75's than gain for me
