Lightest 6 lug wheels for Tacoma

Who know who has the lightest 6 lug rims for our trucks?

Enki seems to have the lightest I have seen in 18 or 17

16 or 17 lbs.

 

None of the 18 or 17 are 6 lug. these all are mostly 4 or 5 lug and for a car.

 

These are only in 16 x 8 for the tacoma and several trucks are running these wheels.
Its like $690 for a set of 4.

 

I am looking for 18 not 16. I have the stock 17 now but want a 18.

So for Enki Rs6 is the lightest rim I can find in the 17-18 range and a none chrome finish. Everyone else is in the 33lb range while enki is in the low 20's range. Unsprung weight helps mpg.

You asked for the lightest wheel for our trucks...clearly it's the Konig Countersteer Offroad at 16 lbs.

What is wrong with 16" wheels? Not enough bling for you?

 

That was not my question. I asked lighest in a 17 or 18.

The smaller the rim the lighter it would be. So if we could run a 15 it would be lighter than a 16. Issues is a 4x4 has a 6 lug 15-20mm offset. So unless you want bling you are limited.

Konig countersteer X's = 19.5 lbs for a 17x8 wheel. I dont think it will get any lighter bro without paying over a grand.

 

Go check out tirerack.com They have a lot of wheels for our taco in the size you're looking for. Looks to start at around 24lbs and up.

 

That is cheap! But how durable is it? I had Enkei's on my old Civic and one wheel bent after hitting a pot hole.

 

Bro, if you can dent these with some 70 series tires, then you dont know how to drive. Konig is a pretty well known brand. These wheels are DOT and JWL approved. Your civic was most likely on 40 series tires which are way more low profile than truck tires.

 

Oh yah, I forgot about that. The EK was on 205/40/17s. Been awake since 4am. LOL dude, just got back from a sick snow day at Big Bear. Anyway, those wheels are cheap as dirt for brand new. I might go for the bronze on my MGM for a different look. Everybody and their mama got black wheels with blacked out this and that.

 

I was looking at 18 not 17. 21 for a 18 is the best I can find. Most of the rims out there are to bling or jump from 18 to 20.

None chrome rims over 17 get harder to find at a light weight. As this truck is mostly for on road driving I am trying to drop the un-sprung weight.
