If so, can you post pics of how they look from the side as well as any other shots that give an idea of the profile? Eg. 3/4 front, rear, etc....

    Thanks in advance!

Excellent pics Chris. May I ask what backspacing you have on those wheels and if the tires sit flush with the edge of the fenders (as it appears to in the pics)?

Thanks bro, sent you some reps.

Chris4x4 has 4.5" backspacing. Check my gallery as well, although I'm running 285/65/18 but same rims and backspacing as Chris4x4

Thx Bluez. I think I almost have the wheel & tire package set for my upcoming Tacoma. Would you say I need at least a 3" lift or can I keep it stock for now? OD on the 285/60-18's should be just about the same as stock.

285/60/18's are considered a 32" tall tire. Mine were 31.5" talll when new. :)

Im gonna bring this thread back to life...

Can someone explain to me how you get a backspace, I know what an offset is but is this backspace pretty much the same thing? Is it the way the rims are manufactured?

Back space is the distance from the hub mounting surface on the wheel, to the lip of the rim.

ok thanks, so can a backspace and an offset be directly related? like would a 4.5'backspace be equivalent to a certain offset..

and how did I know you would answer my question? o thats right cause you have 24,000 posts ;)

Offset. The distance from the centerline of the wheel to the face of the mounting surface of the wheel that contacts the hub.
Zero Offset. Indicates the mounting surface is at the wheel center.
Negative Offset. Indicates the mounting surface is behind (or inboard) the centerline of the rim. This is often found on standard rear-wheel-drive vehicles and on so-called reversed rims. (Diagram below shows negative offset)
Positive Offset. Indicates the mounting surface is in front of (or outboard) the centerline of the rim. This is often found on front-wheel-drive vehicles. Stock Tacoma wheels have Positive offset.
Backspacing. The distance from the mounting surface to the inside lip of the wheel. This measurement is closely related to offset (without actually measuring, backspacing is about equal to [Wheel Width / 2] + [Offset] + [about 1/4] ).
