It will look a lot beter if you do. I put my lift on at less than 2.5K and won't replace my tires untill next year. Too much rubber left on them and not enough $$$ in pocket. I will keep the stock tires & wheels and run them in the winter to save my new tires for the fun seasons. This is what it looks like with a 3" lift & stock tires.

DUMB QUESTION ALERT! PLEASE CONTINUING READING AT YOUR OWN PERIL:

So I got Yokahama Geolanders on my Taco with the specs being P265/70/16. Don't know how good those tires are really, but think I will need to replace them soon.

    However, my rim measure's 17. I'm guessing I shouldn't be concerned that a 16 tires are on 17 rims?

That's how it came when I purchased it. Maybe I'm measuring the rim wrong, but I think thats pretty straightforward so I don't think so.

You are likely measuring the rim wrong. You need to measure the diameter from the start of the bead seat, so not including any lip on the front of the rim. The only way to do it properly would be to dismount the tire.

Yea, I think I am measuring them wrong. I was measuring the rim from lip to lip across the face of the rim. I did the same thing on my wife's Pilot and came up with the same wrong result. Argh! I was hoping I had an excuse to get some new tires.

    Thanks KTP and Konaborne!

There is no physical way to put a 16" tire on a 17" rim, so if you have 16" tires, its safe to assume you also have 16" rims.

Don't have them yet, but I will get them.
Just some of what other members have said about them.
