Based on the 700.00 dollar price tag ( I am rounding) Seems like the best tire for the price. Was looking at duratracs but kind of pricey same thing with the Terra grappplers. Anyone had these on for 20,000+ yet? Oh ya I got the price at Dunn tire includes everything. good deal!

Lots of choices here. But which one is best for my 07 Tacoma 4wd that spends most of its time on the highway or city roads? It's about time to start looking. Any recommendations? Not looking to spend a fortune, but want a good, long lasting ride.

MME- all depends on your weather if your looking for something that needs to good in heavy rain and snow I wold recommend the Hankook DynaPro ATM RF10. If its mostly just rain and little snow I would go the Nitto terra grapplers. Duratracs are good for offroad and most weather conditions but tread life is a concern. Not a good tire for all road driving. Wate of money for what the tire is designed for. For mostly highway driving stick with the first 2.Good tires and good on the road with varying weather conditions.

just had a set of the hankook dynapro atm's put on. i need them for rain, sleet and heavy snow driving. nothing but incredible reviews for these tires, and i had them installed for $166 a tire. couldn't find anything that could touch them for the price.

i am also amazed at how much quieter these are than the factory dunlops. really looking forward to the winter ahead with these hankooks on the taco.

    Eric,

Thanks. I'm in Ruston La - hardly ever snow here. I have the BF Goodrich rugged ATs on there now (factory). Guess I'll stick with those.

Great Job. I'm looking at the Firestone L/T Going to have them put on this weekend. Don't do too much off road, just need a good snow tire that wouldn't kill my gas mileage, hope they do the job. Maybe people can post there tire, size and mileage. Thanks Again

I would stick with the 265. I think that even with the lift, you will have rubbing...

    Need some help..
I just recently bought a tacoma access cab 4cyl. (not the most off-road kinda truck) but I still want to get some decent tires on it. I dont even know where to start. I have Dunlop Tires GRANDTREK AT20 P215/70R15 I'm looking to upgrade my tires to give it more a truck look and do some fun outdoor activites (offroad & ect) Any suggestions? should i keep the manufacture 15" rims & if i do keep them whats a "decent" tire for it.. the help is much appreciated thanks..

I have the 4x4 cylinder with 16" I am getting ready to replace my dunlops. My 3 tires of choice are Duratracs ( if your mostly offroading) Terra grapplers (if your mostly highway) hankook dynpro atf 10 ( spelling and model might be a little off you can look it up) best value for the buck in my opinion, decent offroad with great highway.
