Has anyone had any experience with the michelin ltx a/t2's? Tirerack has a good deal on them right now. I am going to upgrade to 16's with I think 245/70's they are 29.5in tall so right at 1'' smaller than the 265/75/15's I have on there right now. with these rims What do yall think??

i have the kelly safari tsr radials. i freakin love them. they are silent on the highway and grip like hell. i have only rotated them twice. and they balance easily. i would recomend them highly for anybody who does alot of road driving and wants a good grip tire.

Thumbs up

I just swapped out the original Bridgestone Dueler HTs for Dueler Revo 2s.
The OEM size on our TRD Sport was 265 65 r17.
The upgraded size is 245 75 r17.
(for those running r16 rims? the 245 85 r16 would be same overall size)
The difference is noticeable (the 245s fill the well nicely). And the ride is fantastic.
The original HTs SUCKED in the wet stuff on the Oregon Coast.
These new Revo 2s are a dream!

There is no rub or clearance issues that i've seen even though the 245s are 31.6" verses the original 30.5" . . . as the 245s are an inch narrower. The Revo 2s slice through the water patches like a steak knife verses the old 'butter knife' feel we had on the wider HTs.

And as a bonus; according to our GPS, our speedo is perfectly matched to these new tires.

Highly recomended.

Happy Trails,
Thom

I'm looking at these.

Yokohama Geolandar A/T-S

Kumho Road Venture AT KL78

General Grabber AT 2

Suggestions?

I can't afford to get the BF Goodrich T/A's since I don't have a lot of money to throw around right now...Also looking at Hankooks.

I was leaning towards the Hankooks. My Uncle had the Grabbers on his truck and had problems with them a long time ago, so I'm not sure about it. They look pretty aggressive for an All Terrain, but still.

Its just a family mover. We just got it and just got the tires on last week or so. They do ride nice, they are very quiet and they grip great. As for offroad thats a big negative there good buddy. It has never seen dirt as of yet. Thats reserved only for my rig. LOL!

Thanks bud! Yeah, I'm not sure yet how much off roading will be done yet, but I do plan to do some. I'd just go with BFG's, but I am on a pretty low budget so I just am looking for something that will fit my needs and not cost too terribly much.

Thanx bro. Im not sure what size tire you can run with 20s. Do you have a lift? Do you off-road? What are you trying to do with your truck? Some body should be able to help you out better.
