To run 285 70 17's does the tacoma need to be lifted?

The truck in the picture is running them and i was wondering if it is lifted or stock?

I am thinking of buying it and i was just curious?

(the truck is 6 hours away at a dealer) just fyi... cant measure wheel well heigth. and don't know stock vs lifted numbers.

Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
u'd need atleast a 3" in the front to run them...maybe not a lift in the rear

Here is another picture... I am just trying to figure out if it is lifted..
Does anyone know what the kits look like installed?
Or have pictures so i can tell when I get the truck in person.

like i said... it has 285/70/17 so i assumed it had to be lifted?
can anyone confirm or deny this? I attached another picture...

put it to ya this way....if he didnt atleast lift the front a couple inches, that truck would probably be undriveable from rubbing in turns, etc. look for spacers in the front coils or bilstein 5100's in the front (and the bilsteins in question are not the toyota yellow/blue ones) and see how many total leafs are in the rear.

It looks lifted and leveled to me especially in the second picture. The center hub in relation to the fenders is really noticeable. I'd guess 3" front and probably 1" rear. Of course I'd say this is a good think, at least you won't have to get it lifted.
