    What about the duratrac? I have heard from a few people they are good tires and they dont look to bad. Anyone else hear anything good or bad about these?

    I respect oakley's opinion, and would live to hear WHY he didn't like them. I only have ~350 miles on my Nitto's and they are working very well for me but it's early for a strong recommendation. I've been through rain for 2 days and beautiful sunshine with no worries. I've hit up both pavement and gravel roads, but no trails due to rubbing issues and waiting for my new bumper to arrive from All Pro. The Nitto's do fling the snot out of rocks, but other than that I'm happy!
    I've driven over 400,000 miles in my lifetime and have found good tires and not so good tires. From Toyo to Michellin to Nitto to BFG's to Yokohama, etc... SUV's, Cars, Sports cars, trucks, etc... The Nitto's are proving to be a good A/T tire IMO thus far. YMMV... :cool:

    well since you said you want to play in the sand, M/Ts are the worse for that because you let your tires spin once, and you dug a nice little hole for yourself. But if you are in the mud more often then it would be the more sensible choice.
