They just pop off, screwdriver or the lug nut wrench will work.

Are you are saying I need to pull the wheels off?
I was hoping I could pull and paint but if I need to pull the wheels I will have to alot more time. So do they pry twist off w/o removing the wheels or do I need to take the wheels off?

I'm pretty sure you have to pull the wheels.

Pretty sure the OP figured out the center cap situation. Just got my 16-inch SR5 OEM alloy rims powder coated and wanted to know how to remove the center caps with NO TOOLS to replace one of them. Fed a piece of string trimmer line through two adjacent openings on either side of one the cap spokes and gently popped the cap off.

You’ll find a few with slots by the lug nut. A large flat screw driver in the slot and pry forward. Snaps on and off.
