Not sure if this is the correct section... but hey, where does everyone order their brake pads from? This will be my first attempt at changing them and was just looking to be pointed in the right direction to order the pad set. Also, will I need additional brake fluid?

Call Edwin at http://www.raceshopper.com and get yourself a set of Hawk pads.

You won't need more brake fluid unless you're planning on bleeding the brakes. Recommended but definitely not required when changing pads.

I am about to hit 60k miles, so bleeding the fluid is not necessary?

BTW, I am looking for cheap. I am moving and living on my own now and need to save every penny I can...

I was gonna suggest the Hawk brake pads also. Mine need changing and i read that the Hawk's are pretty good.

If you go to their website you can enter you zip for places that are by you that you could order from, or even drive down to pick up. http://www.hawkperformance.com/

Edwin tremendously discounts his parts. Manufacturers don't like having cheap prices posted, which is why you won't find prices on his site. Give him a call and I'd bet he'll come in at a lower price than anyplace else.

I've ordered brakes for about 30 different vehicles from him over the years and have never received a wrong part.
