So I have been reading and reading nonstop about wheels and backspacing and its all getting really confusing the more i read. Im wanting new rims..I have a black single cab 4x 4 09' tacoma 4 cylinder with 16s on it now. I want to run 265/70/16s BFG all terrains and want a good lookin rim to give me a little more aggressive look. I will NOT be installing a lift. I have read that 4.5" backspacing is right for this setup on the wheel to not rub? Is this correct? Im thinking of a bullet hole style rim now and am really liking Eagle alloys type 187. The backspacing on a 16 x 8(which is what i want to run) is 4" on these wheels. Will this work? I want a more aggressive wider look but dont wanna be sticking out too much..and I definately dont want any sort of rubbing at all. HELP! Thanks.
